We were so excited to be able to share this Youth Music funded project with the Acorn Network. This free online network event was a mixture of presentations, creative activities and discussions. We were joined by Germination mentees; the mentors and artists, Mary Lovett and Abby Page; and researcher Dr. Jess Pitt, and project coordinators Lyndall Rosewarne and Sophie Fox.
Germination was an experimental professional development project created by Magic Acorns for early years practitioners, emerging artists and musicians to develop their musical play practice with very young children - through play days, work based experiences and with the support of a mentor.
