"It felt like it was filling my heart and soul."

Updated: Nov 16, 2022

Earlier this year we spoke to Bella who was one of the participants who took park in our Germination project. Germination was a professional development project for early childhood educators, emerging artists and musicians. Through playful workshops, work-based experiences and with the support of a mentor, we have been continuing to reflect on how we can best support and nurture creative practitioners in musical play.

This is the first of three episodes with Dr. Jessica Pitt talking to participants and also to an outside eye and critical friend about their thoughts and feelings on the Germination project.

In this episode Jess talks with Bella Askew, Gemination mentee and musician about developing their practice of musical play.
